Brian has lived in and around Colorado Springs since 1971 excluding a brief 3-year hiatus in south Texas. With all his years of residency and a graduate of Wasson High and Denver Technical College Brian is well-versed in Colorado Springs activities and lore. Brian will be bringing daily, content-rich information to this site for all to enjoy.

Colorado Springs is located right in the middle of Colorado - nestled in the foothills of the great Rocky Mountains. Founded by General William Jackson Palmer in 1871, perhaps the area's most well-known geographic landmark is Pikes Peak, a 14,110 foot giant also known as America's Mountain. The natural beauty of Colorado Springs doesn't begin and end with Pikes Peak thanks to geological wonders like The Garden of the Gods, scores of parks and nature preserves and hiking and biking trails throughout the city. With over 250 days of sunshine each year local residents take advantage of a mild climate that allows them to enjoy Colorado Springs year-round.
